Tereza Plíštilová
Junior Researcher
Tereza is a junior researcher at Peace Research Center Prague and a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.
RESEARCH FOCUS
In her doctoral dissertation, Tereza examines contemporary protest politics in the Middle East and North Africa. She is particularly interested in international news flow and the diffusion of narratives in media worldwide.
More broadly, her academic interests include quantitative methods, public and elite surveys, and contemporary politics of the Middle East.
Background
Tereza attended study-abroad programs at Leiden University and Tel Aviv University and she also conducted fieldwork in Egypt, affiliated with the American University in Cairo.
In the Academic year 2024/2025, she was a Fulbright visiting researcher at Princeton University.
