We are happy to anounce, that we have three new members in our team!
As you may have already noticed, we have three new junior researchers.
Our new external collaborator Ekaterina Ananyeva has written the fourth of our policy briefs. The title is "One Belt One Road Versus the Eurasian Economic Union," and you can now find it in the Policy Briefs section on our website as well as in the Institute of International Relations Prague's Mezinárodní Politika.
► Ideal applicant should be either Bachelor or Master student in Social Sciences and Humanities
► The program is to run from November to January 2019 and can be prolonged if possible
► The intern is expected to work 25 hours per week
► Tasks of the intern:
Analyzing several Frozen Conflicts with close guidance of the research team
Learning and supporting the team in the build-up of a website featuring the results of the Frozen Conflict project
Learning and maintaining the database on frozen conflicts and creating visualizations
Encouraged to conduct own academic research supported by the research team

The Peace Research Center Prague and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Czech Republic cordially invite you to the seminar “Korean Peninsula – Pathways to Peace and Security”, which will take place on Thursday, 1st November 2018, from 09:30 to 13:00 at Charles University – Karolinum building, Ovocný trh 560/5, Praha 1.

Our researchers Michal Smetana and Jan Ludvik are the guest editors of the latest special issue of Asia Europe Journal, an excellent Web of Science journal. The topic of this special issue is Between War and Peace: Frozen Conflicts in Eurasia.
