One of our working groups - PEL - has recently received a prestigious PRIMUS grant for their experimental research on foreign policy and international security. Today, we are very proud to introduce you to ELISS - Experimental Lab for International Security Studies; a Prague-based interdisciplinary research group combining political science and cognitive & social psychology, with a focus on the use of experimental methods.
ELISS studies pertinent issues in foreign policy and international security and is particularly interested in public and elite attitudes toward the use of military force, weapons of mass destruction (nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons), AI-powered autonomous weapon systems, cyber strikes, and contemporary “hybrid threats.”
